I was looking for silver wedges as they go with everything and are comfortable to walk in. These are a tad high but they're still very comfortable and I can walk in them all day. I like that the heel is wrapped in silver, it gives them a more polished look. My one issue with these is the wide strip of leather running down the center from ankle to toe, through which all the thin straps are threaded - at the very end, the leather hits the knuckle of my 2nd toe. The left foot has a blister there and now the right foot is doing the same. I'm hoping once they're broken in this problem will go away as these sandals have a very comfortable and supportive foot base. The cork is also nice to walk on, not too stiff and definitely alleviates any pressure points even though the heel is quite high. I'm usually an 8.5/9 medium width. I purchased a size 9 and they fit perfectly with a little wiggle room.
