I wear Clarks because I'm on my feet all day and require a shoe that is both dressy yet insanely comfortable, and I found both qualities in Clarks. I own several pair and needed a simple black flat, so I was pleased when I came across this one and at a reasonable sale price. However, I absolutely loathe these shoes as they are not comfortable in the slightest. The sole, while rubberized, is much thinner than other Clarks I have in my possession and give no support. My feet (particularly my heel) were throbbing at the end of the day. I thought perhaps it was a breaking in period, so I wore then again and again, but they never improved. By the end of it, I started limping horribly on my right side and on my left the right top of the shoe (near the toes) had dug in and left a sensitive spot where the skin was just about rubbed away. I wish I could return but I stupidly threw the box away. Every pair of Clarks I've owned have almost magically fit perfectly, so I didn't think I'd need the boxes. Lesson learned.

The only reason it didn't receive one star was the quality of the upper in terms of leather seemed nice. Soft to the touch and with a very nice leather aroma. The bow is leather too btw. If only they didn't near-cripple me.
