These are really pretty in person. I bought them in black and the fabric is shimmery, like the beach at sunset. They are casual enough to be worn during the day but the shimmer makes them elegant. The footbed is cushioned and comfortable and the fabric is a little stretchy and not painful at all. Also, the tread is rugged enough that I don't feel like I'm going to slip and fall (I'm not used to wearing platforms at all). My favorite part, though, is the velcro. What could be better than an elegant shoe that is comfortable and easy to slip in and out of? I bet the sandstone color would look really beautiful. Once I get practiced at walking with a natural gait, these might become my favorite shoes.
