This slipper was purchased to replace a pair that wore out after ten years use. The Foamtreads Baldwin slipper is a solid, well built product, almost like a shoe. I particularly like the fact that it is a leather slipper with what appears to be a memory-foam insole. The shoe is very comfortable. The shoe length is proper, a size 12, just what I need. However, it is extremely roomy and wide, much wider than a M width should be. In this statement, I am assuming an M width is comparable to a regular shoe width of D. In any case, it is too roomy, the shoe fits sloppily, and that is why I gave it only four stars. Maybe most people like a very comfortable and roomy slipper. I prefer one that fits a little more tightly. That being said, I am keeping the shoe because of it's well-built construction. I guess one might say that it is more shoe than slipper. Don't hesitate to buy, just be aware that it is going to be very roomy in the foot and toe area.
