Just received them in 'black' after exchanging for the 'cashmere' color which turned out to be a dark tan rather than the very light color pictured. Since I had a chance to try them on I ordered a 1/2 size smaller for this pair because the long, pointy toe has lots of room. They fit like a glove but my feet are a little narrow to average so, if you have wide feet, they might not work for you. The black suede leather is lovely...very thin, delicate and soft - just like I was hoping. I like that the sole and heel are also black. A very sexy, feminine cowgirl version of the cowboy boot.

Also, both pairs arrived via FedEx so I received them here in Hawaii in only a couple of days rather than the 2-3 weeks it usually takes with Super Saver Shipping. I was somewhat shocked to learn that the "free return shipping" on shoes means that Amazon only pays equal to their own shipping costs (which must be substantially discounted). I know it's going to cost a lot more than $4.99 to send the first pair from Honolulu to Kentucky.
