I bought these because McRae says their products are made in USA, but was disappointed to find that these boots are made in China. Apparently made in USA doesn't apply to ALL their products, only certain ones like their military boots. They seem to be fairly decent quality compared to other junk Chinese boots I've seen, like the ones at Walmart that I wouldn't even consider buying. Not the most comfortable boots I've worn, but better than lots of other ones I've tried that hurt my feet. Don't know how long they will last but if I get a year out of them I'll be satisfied and then I will buy some that I know for sure are made in USA. Buying things made in China goes against everything I believe in and I avoid it when I can, but I bought these thinking they were made in USA because the McRae website says their products are American made. It's misleading because they don't tell you that it doesn't apply to all their products.
