A beautiful pair of Swedish open toe clogs in red wax leather. Hand made in Sweden to a classic design by a long established manufacturer. These clogs feature an orthopaedically shaped footbed providing excellent support and consequently a superbly high level of comfort whilst still looking wonderfully stylish. The heel height is 7cm which we find gives the perfect mix of style and comfort. The upper is made from a thick red wax leather. This leather will mould itself to your feet to provide excellent comfort and support. It will also darken slightly with age. The sole is wood either alder or birch with rubber heel and sole pads.

I was looking for clog sandals & SO pleased to discover these; I haven't seen a style or color like this anywhere else. Given the quality and loveliness of these shoes, it's shocking that Including shipping charges, they're still half the price of some bigger name Sweden-based clog sandals out there. I ordered one other pair of clogs from Lotta in addition to these, and everything arrived weeks sooner than I expected. One word of caution - if you're between sizes, definitely email Lotta (info@lottafromstockholm.co.uk) to make sure you're getting the right size! Amazon's display of this particular product is only showing US sizes, without revealing the EU counterpart that's being subbed. I'm a true 7 1/2 & wear an 8 for sandals, which almost always translates to a EU size of 38. All Amazon ever told me when I initially placed the order was that I was getting size 8s, so I was very surprised when the sandals arrived to see 39s (too big; it's not out-and-out wrong to attempt 39s for US 8s (could go either way - depends on where between 7 1/2 - 8 you are), but it would've been good to know at the outset, so that I could have said "38s instead, please!"). So yes, definitely email Lotta about sizing to be sure you're getting the EU size you want! Despite getting the wrong size & considering the whole overseas shipping factor, it was absolutely one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had - they graciously apologized (and explained that Amazon has not been responsive about updating the sizing info) & Immediately shipped out 38s in replacement; they even asked me if I was still happy with the style I'd ordered, or if I'd like to switch to something else, as if it'd be no big deal at all. Simply outstanding service. Oh, and I don't know if they just never sleep, but I always hear from them within half a day (at most) of emailing them (they're in the UK). Based on this experience alone, I'm a customer for life!
