I bought my first pair of badrocks. I am coming from Golite's. I was skeptical as I'd never seen the montrail. I spend months in the high country, these shoes have held up and still feel great! If you run/walk different terrains its worth a try. They're a mid weight shoe, not ultra lite. The fluidpost provides an excellent feel and support. I have one leg, and Ottobock bionic prosthetic , I'm amputated from above the knee. These shoes are great on my foot, and on my prosthetic foot. They hook up fantastic and hold my prosthetic tight without slip. I wear a 12, may I'll do a 11-1/2 next time.
