I have been wearing Dr. Martens since I was 13 and have owned far too many pairs to count over the years. When I was searching for a winter boot I was excited to see the lined Jenny boot. I thought they would be a warm alternative to the regular 8-hole DMs that have always been my go-to snow boot.

When these arrived I was very disappointed. I am a US womens size 8 in DMs and these were a bit tight. The fleece was not warm at all. I bought the black leather which was very soft and would not need break-in time but was rather cheap feeling. The leather came scratched which is due to it being of a lesser quality, not the fault of Amazon, and it creased at the toe as soon as I put the boot on. DMs are usually heavy boots and these were very, very light. The sole seemed of lesser quality than other DM boots. I did think they were comfortable other than being bit snug and the calf area was large enough to tuck pants into. They are not warm though and of a poor quality. I returned them the next day.
