This pair of sandals (in camel) are almost perfect to me. The color is inaccurate on the picture--they look more orange-ish than brown in person. But the color fits almost half of my wardrobe, so I'm very happy with it. The trim is deep chocolate almost black, counter-stitched with white thread. All in all, a very versatile color and style with its own uniqueness.
The wedge is 3 inches (what a pity it's not listed in the description! I had spent a long time guessing!). The leather is not the softest, but that's more or less expected. The height is comfortable and desirable. The sole is bendable and the padding is great--better than the other pair of sandals I ordered from the same line Women's Spring Step L'Artiste, Luzon Slide Sandals. The strands are positioned in such a way that they don't rub my toes yet they are not at all loose--the sandals follow my feet when walking. The only (and minor) complaint I have about them is that I have relative high arches and that makes these sandals a little tight. I wear 5.5 or 6 for sandals, I ordered 6 and they fit snugly--I can manage a 6-1/2 without any problem. For women with usual feet width order your usual size, and women of a little broader feet (but not wide), I'd suggest order 1 or 2 size up. I don't recommend for wide feet.

Update: I wear these sandals for the first day, and I can walk really fast effortlessly. However they do rub the sides of my feet so for me they do need to be broken in--since they are so cute, I will just put some band-aid and wear them more often! Very looking forward to the summer!
