Just received these on Saturday afternoon, a few days early, from Footsmart. I was so pleased until I opened the box. Inside the shoe box looked like it had been through a war. Torn, dirty, old. The shoes inside looked new and unworn. However, the instant I put them on and started to walk around, they started squeaking loudly. Never had this happen before. Cute red shoes, fit well, and squeaky. I looked up the problem, which is due to two different materials rubbing together. Leather upper, stiff cheap leather from China, and "Manmade Balance" and soles. Do I send them back? Or do I try to fix them myself? Or do I give them a day or two to break in...?
